Why accreditation matters
An accredited certificate is issued by a body whose competence and impartiality are assessed by a national accreditation body. EMCERT is accredited by BAS (ИА БСА), accreditation certificate No. 1 OSS, first granted in 2015. BAS is a signatory of the EA Multilateral Agreement, so our certificates are recognised across the EU, and internationally through Global ACI, which took over the role of IAF in 2026.
Bulgarian contracting authorities accept accredited certificates as evidence under Article 63(1)(10) of the Public Procurement Act, and so do corporate customers and general contractors across Europe.
A certification body, not a consultancy
Under ISO/IEC 17021-1, a certification body may not consult the organisations it certifies. We audit and certify; your organisation implements its management system itself or with an independent consultant. We do not publish fixed prices — every quote is individual, based on audit scope, with no hidden fees.
